On 6 April 2023, my 11-month-old son, Malik, suddenly fell critically ill and was rushed to Midlands Private Hospital in Gweru. Later that night, around 11 pm, everything took a terrifying turn — Malik stopped breathing. His tiny body grew cold, and the nurses confirmed the worst: there was no sign of life. They drew the curtains and left me wailing in the corridor.
But God sent a lifeline. A hospital worker reminded me, “There is a God.” With trembling hands, I called Apostle Shiri. He instructed me to put my phone on loudspeaker and place it under Malik’s pillow. As the Apostle prayed, five minutes felt like eternity — then suddenly, my son began to breathe again!
By morning, the same hospital worker smiled at me and said, “Mafavhukhe” — the one who rose from the dead. Malik was later discharged completely healthy.
Truly, God is the giver of life. He raises the dead. — Mrs. Mugabe
