We experienced almost six years of barrenness. We visited hospitals and underwent all the necessary medical tests, and the results always showed that we were perfectly fine. According to the doctors, there was nothing preventing us from conceiving — yet still, we could not.

Out of desperation, and at a very young age, we even sought spiritual help from a traditional healer, but nothing changed. Our situation became extremely challenging, and at some point we almost gave up — until our mother invited us to Victory Celebration Church Corban Global.

We began attending church, and in April 2023, during a Sunday service while we were seated at the back, the Man of God approached us, prayed for us, and declared that we would have a child. Four weeks later, my wife missed her period. We took a pregnancy test, and indeed — she was pregnant. It felt like a dream; we could hardly believe what God had done.

However, the pregnancy came with many challenges. Two months in, my wife developed dangerously high blood pressure. At the hospital, the doctors described the situation as a threatened miscarriage and recommended that she be admitted. We immediately called the Man of God, Apostle E.T. Shiri, who prayed for us over the phone — and her condition normalized.

In the ninth month, my wife fell ill again and went back to the hospital. A scan was done, and it showed that the baby was tied up with the umbilical cord and had no heartbeat. Before the scan, we had called Apostle E.T. Shiri to inform him that the baby had not moved for two days. He prayed and commanded the baby to come back to life. At that time, I didn’t fully understand the seriousness of his prayer — but after the scan, I realized the situation was far worse than I imagined. The baby was practically gone.

The attendant performed several tests, and from her expression and body language, I could tell something was terribly wrong, although she struggled to communicate it. Moments later, a heartbeat was detected. That was a miracle — a resurrection right before our eyes.

During labour, complications continued. The baby was still tied with the cord, and my wife required an operation. The placenta was positioned below, with the baby on top. But by the grace of God, the child was delivered healthy.
